Suki Kinari Hydropower Project Actively Participated in the Emergent Repairs of Roads and Bridges in Areas Affated by Floods in Pakistan

SK Hydro (Private) Limited (SK Hydro), a subsidiary of Energy China(CEEC), is developing 884-Suki Kinari Hydropower Project in Mansehra district.

The recent destruction of the Mahandri Bridge in Kaghan Valley has stranded 10,000-15,000 tourists and disrupted local lives. Responding swiftly, Energy China SK Project Company provided construction materials, cranes among other mechanical equipment for restoration. At present, the damaged bridge is being repaired through close cooperation between China and Pakistan.

SK Hydropower Station, our largest overseas project, will generate 3.212 billion KWh of clean electricity annually, addressing one-fifth of Pakistan's electricity gap. Expected to achieve COD by September 2024, this Project underscores our dedication for promoting sustainable development and local economic growth.
