On 5 Aug., the foundation of turbine #1 at Biovea 46MW Biomass Power Plant in Cote D'ivoire which is constructed by China Energy Construction Group Co., Ltd. is completed concreting.
The Project, located in Aboissowhere about 100km away from the east of Abidjan, is the largest biomass power plant under construction in West Africa. After completion, 348 gigawatts of clean energy will be generated annually as estimated and the project will help the energy structure transformation and ecological environment protection. During the construction and operation of the project, more than 1000 full-time jobs will be provided to the locals and supplementary incomes are also offering for the 12000 palm growers, which effectively promoteslocal people's livelihood, the localemployment and economic development.
